Community Activities
W M Dodgson’s Harehills branch welcomed members of the local community to a friendly community café on 5 August, creating an opportunity for people to meet the team, enjoy a social afternoon and learn more about the services available in their area.
Organised by team members Lee and Sinead, the event aimed to open the branch doors to local residents and encourage stronger community connections. Visitors were invited to spend time in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, getting to know both the team and their neighbours.
For Lee and Sinead, the event was a meaningful way to become more involved in community activities and build relationships with local people. The most rewarding part of the day was meeting residents, hearing their stories and creating a warm social environment for everyone who attended.
By bringing people together, the community café helped strengthen local connections and demonstrated W M Dodgson’s commitment to supporting and engaging with the community it serves.
